Gala Drop // RAUZE
This is the second Portuguese artist I’ve posted in a matter of a week.
Gala Drop have a thick tropical sound filled out by an array of percussion, twinkling guitar hooks and droning synths. I have been getting more and more into these exotic trance inducing beats since I was introduced to Amdiscs’ Pears. I’m hoping to see an influx in music like this to spice up my summer.
Gala Drop will be releasing a 12” EP via Golf Channel Recordings towards the end of September and will be playing a few sets in the US in the next few weeks (appareantly invited by Panda Bear). Check out there myspace for details.
